The Azienda Agricola Olivari, in the province of Brescia, is an example of excellence in cattle breeding. Storage System: 2 ZeroCO2 XL BESS 125K cabinets, for a total storage capacity of 250 kWh.
Demand and Functionality of Storage
The company, after installing 150 kW of photovoltaic panels, was faced with the challenge of managing a peak power consumption of up to 70kW during the summer. The solution chosen was a low-power but high-capacity storage system. This allows the farm to store the excess energy produced during the day and reuse it at night, a time when the farm's activity does not stop, thus maximizing self-consumption.
Benefits for the company
Thanks to the installation carried out by F.A.R. Elettric, Olivari Farm experienced a significant improvement in energy management. Initially, a self-consumption rate of 50% had been achieved with the photovoltaic system alone. With the introduction of the ZeroCO2 XL indoor storage system, configured for 60kW / 250 kWh, this value reached almost 80%. A key aspect is the modularity of the system, which offers the possibility of future expansions, both of the storage and the PV system.
In addition, zeroCO2 cloud technology allows remote management of the system, ensuring efficiency and control for both the farm and F.A.R. Elettric.
