Demand and Functionality of Storage

The challenge was to manage peak energy consumption due to common loads-such as common area lighting, elevators, and geothermal heating-along with the growing energy needs for the 37 electric vehicle charging stations. 

The centralized storage system allows the three apartment buildings to optimize self-consumption by storing energy during periods of lower demand and then distributing it at peak times, thus reducing grid dependence and overall energy costs.
