Press Conference 18 May 2023

On 18 May 2023, at Caffè Pedrocchi in the heart of Padua, a press conference was held to present the Joint Venture between Energy S.p.A. and Pylon technologies Europe Holding B.V., which will lead to the creation of Italy's first gigafactory at Energy's plant in Sant'Angelo di Piove di Sacco (PD). The purpose of the joint venture is to strengthen the joint business in the European territory for the production and marketing of lithium batteries.

Speakers at the event included Davide Tinazzi, CEO of Energy, Andrea Taffurelli, CTO and Co-founder of Energy, and Jinpeng 'Geoffrey' Song, Vice President of International Business at Pylon Technologies.

The conference opened with greetings from Franco Conzato, general manager of Venicepromex, Agency for the internationalisation of the Veneto Chamber system, and the reading of the message sent by the President of the Region Luca Zaia to Energy S.p.A.
