Stored energy: 1,1 MWh

In Arzano, Naples, Italy, the company SO.F.A. Srl, which deals with exotic fruit ripening processes using temperature-controlled cells, has installed our new and updated zeroCO2 - XL storage system for indoor applications.

The system consists of 9 zeroCO2 - XL BESS 125K cabinets with 26 H32148 batteries each for a total of 1,109.16 kWh, a zeroCO2 - XL System cabinet with 4 PCS of 60 kW each for a total of 240 kW and Huawei inverters.

The zeroCO2 XL storage system was implemented to optimize SO.F.A.'s self-consumption of energy. During daylight hours, the system stores excess energy produced by the photovoltaic system, which would otherwise be fed into the national grid. At times when photovoltaic production is insufficient to cover energy needs, the system intervenes by providing up to 240 kW of power, ensuring a constant and reliable energy supply until the set discharge percentage is reached.

The whole system can be managed and monitored from the cloud.
